A Valentines Day inspired Status file!~
The valentines stuff is only theming, mind, it is still perfectly good to listen to this on other times of the year x3
Once again, a biiit longer than I usually shoot for with this series- one version is 23 minutes, and the other is 32!
But that just means more content for you, I suppose ^^
(Don't be too confused by the idea of two versions, I'll get to that soon <3)
So, yeah! Valentines, love, adoration, all those good themes!~
But since this series is for RPG effects, I also took inspiration from the 'charm' and 'brainwash' sort of status conditions you might see often.~
Imagine being so utterly and cloyingly infatuated with an enemy, that you are suddenly willing to serve them as a mindless slave~. So desperate for their approval that you would do anything for them <3.
But this is also nice for partners and other people you're close with, of course! You can simply use it to drink in your feelings of love, and intensify it into a powerful drug for you to enjoy!~
The trigger in this file is 'Status Effect, Charmed'.
Whoever uses the trigger, (Unless they specify someone else), becomes your new obsession! It starts out small, with you feeling utterly at ease and safe in their presence, before you quickly become consumed with feelings of devotion and dependency! You fawn over them, you prostrate yourself to them, you worship them like an idol, and you feel compelled to serve them in hopes they return your love~.
Its a semi-mindless state, where you become almost addicted to their love, and essentially become their slave for the duration! All the while you're happily lost in the bliss of it all <3.
Of note, is that someone can instead direct your attention to someone else while using the trigger. For example they could say 'Status Effect, Charmed: Fall in love with Ren', or something to that effect, and then this other person would become the target of your devotion!
Since this is a bit of a powerful effect and potentially mess with consent, I put up extra guardrails in this- like in the Dazed file. Just like Dazed, there is specification that some part of you will keep free of the trigger's effects, and be ready to alert you and pull you out if it is ever needed.
~What is the Parasocial Cut?~
So! There are two versions of this file!
In the normal version, simply titled 'Status: Charmed', I take special care to ensure that I am not the target of your affection throughout most of the file. I make sure to talk about the effects in the context of you falling in love with someone else. I do this, because I want to make sure I don't mess with or intrude on any relationships you might already have, or risk a parasocial relationship where you see me as your personal dom, instead of just the online hypnotist I am. I want to make sure I don't set unrealistic expectations or hurt you, basically.
... However, there is another version of the file, which I call the 'Parasocial Cut', in which I drop that boundary and seed ideas throughout the file of you being obsessed with me specifically, before finally using the trigger on you directly at the very end.
I call it 'parasocial', because I still firmly remain out of your reach, and do not actually become your dom in any real way. I push you away, and leave you denied of the attention that the trigger makes you crave. It is fully one-sided, with my only taunting you with the idea that if you keep serving me and keep being addicted, I'll maybe one day take notice and reward you (that won't happen, since it wouldn't be feasible, and I don't actually want any subs <u>).
So! The Parasocial Cut generally involves me getting you addicted and dependent on me, and then cruelly pushing you away in a sadistic display!~
... While also not-so-subtly encouraging you to 'serve' and 'worship' me by listening to more files, sharing my content, engaging in profile-play, and generally joining a sort of 'cult of personality' ♥. Its very self-indulgent <u>.
It is very much not everyone's cup of tea. I made it for the more masochistic folks and those who enjoy the idea of being obsessed with a stranger. If you don't like that kind of concept, please listen to the normal version! None of those themes are present in the normal version!
That said: the effect is not strictly permanent, of course. It will stick around until you decide you've had enough, and end the trigger yourself. Do keep this in mind.
Other things of note: I use themes of dependence and addiction in both versions of the file, and the idea of craving your 'lover' like a drug. There is also some focus on mindlessness, and being a slave who is willing to do anything your lover asks. There are still safeguards of course, to keep you from doing anything you'd not want to do, but do keep it in mind regardless.
In the normal version of the file, I end the effects of the trigger while waking out up, but in the parasocial version, I do not- instead instructing the listener to begin finding ways to prove their devotion and serve me~.
