It’s Halloween night and you’re at home watching old horror movies. It’s pouring rain, foggy, and just miserable outside. It’s a perfect night to stay in. You’re relaxed on the couch when you hear a faint knocking. You brush it off, thinking it’s probably the wind. No one would be way out here this late at night, in this weather, right? You hear the knocking again and start to make your way slowly towards the door. You’re nervous to open it, it’s just so unusual to have an unannounced guest here. You slowly unlock and open the door, prepared for sommething bad to happen. To your surprise, there’s a girl standing on your front step in the pouring rain. She apologizes for bothering you and asks to come inside. You can tell she’s harmless so you usher her in. She explains to you that her car broke down and her phone is dead, she’s freezing cold, soaking wet, and really needs your help.
