AnnaScotX and I watched the movie Saltburn and decided it simply wasn’t incestuous enough, so here’s our retelling. You’ve sadly lost your family and arrive at the Saltburn estate to be welcomed in by your new adopted mother Elsbeth (Sasha) and sister Venetia (Anna). They’re a VERY close family and want to make you feel at home and welcome. But when you bond with your new brother, your sister becomes jealous. Blinded by your charm, your mother sides with you even after a tragic “accident” involving your brother unfolds, leaving you the only remaining man of the house. Overcome with grief, and desperate not to let her family fall further apart, your mother comforts you and focuses all her efforts on keeping you happy. Your sister isn’t so easily fooled, but once she’s out of the picture, all that’s left is you, your doting mother… and Saltburn.
